What a Week
This has been an up and down week. I have been doing really well, but some days I am completely exhausted after doing just a few things around the house. It makes me laugh!! Thursday, Tim and his family and I went to his grandparent's house and did some yard work. Well, correction, they did yard work, I was instructed to rest. I did and it was absolutely wonderful. It was very peaceful. Saturday, we had a picnic and played tennis. This was the first time I had ever touched a racket. Not bad, let's just say, there was a couple there who could actually play and we just looked really silly. Oh well, we had fun. Then on Sunday, we were able to go to church. I was very excited!!! This is the first time I had been able to go to church do to morning sickness and all the lovely things going on with my pregnancy. For a Mother's Day lunch, I asked Tim to go to McDonald's because I was really craving a snack wrap. When we go there, I couldn't even eat it! Boy was I upset..... but I was able to eat it a few hours later. We had a lovely time talking with moms and grandmas and wishing them a wonderful day. It is so strange to think that I am a mommy. I am so excited for the next 6 months. I pray God will grant us a safe and healthy baby!

Life
So, the last few days have been really good for our family. Tim found out that he has a new job for nTelos as a retail wireless consultant. He has really enjoyed that job in the past and is really excited to pick it back up again. I was also able to talk to a really good friend of mine the other day, which was amazing. We went to the Strawberry Festival in downtown Roanoke and got chocolate covered strawberries, strawberry smoothies, hot dogs (for Tim) and BBQ (for me) :) It was great fun.
I am still having some rough days. It seems like the medicine is working for the most part, which I am very thankful for. I think I also picked up a bug when I was at school. So by Dr. Tim's orders, I have been trying to take it easy. Just today have I felt semi-good to be up and around. Thank you for your continuing prayers.
